Gorham Strasbourg Silverplate Bowl

For the holiday table: pile it high with clementines and greenery, or pass the rolls in it at Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner.

A generously sized Gorham silverplate serving bowl in the Strasbourg pattern — that lavish, scrolling rococo rim that makes even a bowl of clementines look like a centerpiece. Beautiful on a dining table, a sideboard, or a bar cart.

• Maker: Gorham, Strasbourg pattern (silverplate)
• Marked on the underside with the Gorham lion, anchor & G, and reference YC1353
• Measures approximately 11.5" diameter x 2.5" high

Condition: Good vintage condition with honest signs of age and use. Surface scratches throughout, consistent with a piece that was actually used and loved. There are also a few small spots of pin-prick pitting where the plating has worn through — visible on close inspection, not from across a room. No dents, no splits, no repairs. Polished and ready to style.
