Oneida Rococo Silverplate Tray, 17"

Made for the holidays: set it on the bar with decanters and coupes, or let it carry dessert from kitchen to table on Christmas Eve.

A showstopper tray with all the detail you want in vintage silver. The center is engraved with rococo scrolls, scallop shells and latticework, framed by a plain polished border that catches the light. Cast floral-and-scroll ornaments in a handle design decorate the rim on either side; they're decorative and not meant for lifting.

At 17" across, it's big enough to be a real workhorse. Use it for a bar setup with decanters and glasses, under a cake stand on a buffet, or as the anchor for a coffee table vignette. It also looks lovely propped on a plate stand against a wall.

• Maker: Oneida, marked on the underside with the knight logo and "Oneida U.S.A."
• Material: Silverplate
• Size: 17" diameter
